This is an infection of one or both of your kidneys. These are the organs that filter your blood to produce urine. A kidney infection is a serious medical condition that requires prompt care.

Rhabdomyolysis (RM) is the breakdown of muscle tissue. This releases toxic substances into the blood stream. RM often has no symptoms.

When your kidneys don't work as they should, waste products build up in your blood. The early stage of this process is called renal insufficiency. If renal insufficiency gets worse, you can develop chronic renal failure.
