This surgery removes growths called "fibroids" from your uterus. That's your womb. We do this when fibroids cause things like pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding from your uterus and fertility problems.

This procedure uses a device called a "hysteroscope" (also known as a "resectoscope") to remove one or more fibroids inside your womb. A fibroid is a form of tumor that's rarely cancerous.

This outpatient procedure is used to remove one or more fibroids - growths that commonly develop along the walls of the uterus. The procedure is performed with the aid of a specialized device called a hysteroscope, which is inserted through the cervix and into the uterus. The hysteroscope contains a light, camera and a cutting instrument called a morcellator.
